Manufacturing Process: Level 1 to 6 L1 - L6
The manufacturing-levels herein are industry standard terms used to describe the 11 stages of the manufacturing process. Level 1 to Level 6 are categorically performed by Original Design Manufacturers ODM - Quanta Computer Inc a Taiwanese manufacturing giant.
Manufacturing Process: Level 6 to 10 L6 - L10
The manufacturing-levels herein are industry standard terms used to describe the 11 stages of the manufacturing process.
Level 6 to Level 10 are performed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer OEM like Hyperscalers - the world's first Open OEM. Unlike the traditional locked OEM like HP Dell CISCO, Hyperscalers does:
- Not-Rebrand its systems, commodities or components. So customers know what they are getting - highest possibly quality;
- Not-Lock-Down its hardware systems, commodities and components. So customers don't become vendor locked;
- Not-Lock-Down the software when pre-loaded on hardware. So customers can re-purpose the appliance later be it a switch or a server.
Manufacturing Process: Level 10 to 11 L10 - L11
The manufacturing-levels described herein are industry standard terms used to describe the 11 stages of the manufacturing process.
Level 10 to Level 11 refers to the final stage of the manufacturing process where the complete hardware system becomes an appliance - be it IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, AI, HPC, Deep Learning or Machine Learning. The appliance contains everything service providers will need to turn around their services.
